with light. But it is more than simply ‘painting.'
It is more than simply capturing a moment.
Photography is ‘Momentary Immortality.'
It will not only forever capture a moment in time,
but the literal essence of the subject. It is that
treasured portrait of your parent, grandparent, great-grandparent
long passed away, or your high school senior portrait… The
look in your young eyes of anticipation and excitement
of an uncertain future… It is the innocent child who
just learned to walk, the beloved pet that was treated
more like a child or sibling… In a portrait, their
essence is captured forever. A moment in time that
will never occur again…
It was with this mentality that I took
to photography at a very young age and my obsessed
focus and philosophy of when I started Keehn Images
in 1994. To capture that moment, that face, that
aura forever. Long when we are gone, our legacy might
fade, but our portrait never will…
